These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BudgetDaily mobile application ("the App", "BudgetDaily"), developed by Ivan Ting ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using BudgetDaily, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.
By accessing or using BudgetDaily, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
These Terms constitute an agreement between you and Ivan Ting only, and not with Apple, Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. You acknowledge that you have reviewed Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, and that your use of BudgetDaily is also subject to those terms.
BudgetDaily is a personal finance budgeting app that allows you to track accounts, transactions, budgets, and categories. All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, with optional cloud features available through a paid subscription.
BudgetDaily is not a financial institution, bank, or licensed financial advisor. The App is a tool for personal budget tracking and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any financial decisions you make based on information in the App are your sole responsibility.
BudgetDaily offers a Pro subscription with the following features:
The subscription is billed as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple's App Store. The current price is displayed in the App and on the App Store listing.
Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of any free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
BudgetDaily Pro supports Apple Family Sharing for up to 5 family members. Family Sharing eligibility and management are subject to Apple's Family Sharing terms.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings:
Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > BudgetDaily
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until that date.
We may change subscription pricing at any time. Apple will notify you of any price increase before your next renewal. You must affirmatively consent to the new price to continue your subscription, as required by App Store policy.
All purchases and subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information.
To request a refund, you must contact Apple directly:
Refund eligibility is determined by Apple in accordance with their refund policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
By using BudgetDaily, you agree to:
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into BudgetDaily. We do not access, collect, or store your data on any server. Your data resides on your device and, if you enable iCloud features, in your private iCloud account.
The App is provided as-is. We cannot guarantee against data loss. Data may be lost due to, but not limited to:
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We strongly recommend enabling Auto Cloud Backup (Pro feature) or regularly exporting your data. We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or inability to recover data, regardless of the cause.
Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data. iCloud data can be managed through your device's iCloud settings. We do not retain any copy of your data and cannot recover it after deletion.
BudgetDaily, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Ivan Ting and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not distribute or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. Family Sharing is permitted to the extent enabled by Apple's Family Sharing feature.
Ivan Ting is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claims relating to the App or your possession and use of it.
You retain ownership of all data and content you create within the App. We claim no rights to your data.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use that feedback without obligation or compensation to you.
BudgetDaily is not a financial advisor, accountant, or licensed professional. The App is a personal budgeting tool only. It does not:
Any decisions you make based on information displayed in the App are entirely your responsibility. For financial advice, consult a qualified professional.
YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not represent or warrant that the App will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. No information obtained through the App creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
In the event that the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are Ivan Ting's sole responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Ivan Ting, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
BudgetDaily relies on the following Apple platform services:
Your use of these services is subject to Apple's own terms and privacy policies, and you agree to comply with those applicable third-party terms when using the App. We are not responsible for the availability, reliability, or security of Apple's services.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device and cancelling any active subscription.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice, without liability to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Victoria, Australia.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ivan Ting regarding BudgetDaily.
You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
