Frequently Asked Questions
All your data is stored locally on your device. If you subscribe to BudgetDaily Pro and enable iCloud Sync, your data is also stored in your private iCloud account. We never have access to your data.
You can restore from a local backup file you previously saved. If you have iCloud Sync enabled, sign in with the same Apple Account on your new device and your data will sync automatically. Pro users can also restore from an iCloud Drive backup in Settings → iCloud → Manage Backups. If you need to discard this device's local database and re-download the current iCloud copy, use Settings → iCloud → Advanced → Replace This Device with iCloud.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device to manage or cancel your BudgetDaily Pro subscription.
Yes. BudgetDaily Pro supports budget sharing via iCloud. You can invite others to view your shared budgets directly from the app. Recipients get read-only access to the shared budget only.
Today's balance is the rolling budget amount you can safely spend right now while staying on pace. It includes budget earned so far, carry-forward, goal movements, recurring commitments, due scheduled one-offs, refunds, and spending. Positive means ahead of pace; negative means behind, with no-spend recovery guidance.
Yes. Move Funds lets you shift available budget room between active budgets, from a budget to a savings goal, or from a savings goal back to a budget. The source is limited by its available Today balance or funded goal amount. These movements adjust budget and goal balances only; they do not change account balances or create bank transfers.
You can create a local backup file for restore later, or export CSV files from Settings → Export Data. Local backup/restore and CSV export/import work on both Free and Pro plans. Pro users can also enable automatic iCloud Drive backups.
